If not for NIck's persistence, knowledge, and professionalism the sale of my home would have fallen through. Nick was the lending agent for my new home purchase. Getting involved with the sale of my existing home was not his responsibility. But he stepped in and took care of it because he's a great person. Nick has helped us refinance our home twice over the past few years. The service he provided has really been top notch. In spite of my poor attitude in thinking we wouldn't even qualify, he carefully explained why we still would. He instructed me on how to do my part to make it happen and what his part would entail. He made it happen! The first time he was able to roll all our debt into a new loan and help set up a short-term plan for a following refinance. The second time, he was able to reduce our interest rate after we were able to pay off debt and boost our credit score enough to qualify for a lower rate. He dealt with a very frustrated and cynical woman and he did so with kindness and compassion. Nick's hard work has allowed us to free up our money to be able to pay for a child's high medical bills because we weren't saddled with our previous debt, which everyone knows sucks your money like your very own personal black hole. If we ever need a new loan or when interest rates go down again enough to refinance again, I know Nick will help us know if it is a smart thing to do or not. Being a first time home buyer combined with an extremely competitive market, can be overwhelming and stressful. Nick was amazing to work with! He made the process of going through, and getting a loan, a lot easier. Nick explained my options to me but more importantly he listened to what I wanted, my goals and respected it. Nick worked hard on my behalf, would run numbers for me all the time (if I found a property I was interested in and wanted to see what the numbers looked like prior to submitting an offer), and was honest with me in terms of how the numbers would be if I wanted to pursue and submit an offer. What I loved, is Nick remembers your goals, what you want and don't want, and would lay out the pros vs. cons from a lending standpoint (i.e. downpayment amount, with an HOA or without an HOA, type of loans, etc) when I was unsure the direction I wanted to go, so I could make the best decision for myself. With Nick, I've never worried about my loan not going through because he was on top of things every step of the way, any questions I had he would answer and he would put my concerns at ease. I would highly recommend Nick and would work with him again in the future!

This is my second refinance with American Liberty Mortgage and Nick Bebout and both times the process has been so easy and fast. I called Nick the last week of December 2017 to start the process, and was closing by January 16th, 2018. I was able to consolidate all of my credit card and loan debt, and get rid of my PMI (mortgage insurance), literally saving me over $1000 a month total. I could not be happier.

I had contacted two other agencies about refinancing my home so I could get rid of my mortgage insurance. when I found out my new mortgage would only be about $100 less but with a much higher interest rate, I wasn't interested. I called Nick from a mailer I received and expected and got the same answer, however, what Nick did next was what the other two agencies never bothered. Nick asked me about my debt; credit cards, car loans, personal loans, their interest rates. Once we went over the high interest and monthly payments I made to these, it made since to refinance to consolidate bills. No one else had even told me I could do that. Now, I am saving about $800 a month and my house payment is almost the same. I let Nick know I was nervous because the house buying experience was hectic, asked for tons of documents, I had to take time off work and it took months and I did not want to go through that again. Nick answered all of my concerns, everything was done online and so easy. I didn't even have to go anywhere to close, he sent them to my work. I have been telling all my co-workers what a wonderful experience it was. now, a couple of them are talking about refinancing.
Everything was find all the way up to the last week. We changed the amount we were going to put down on the new home and for some reason this caused a delay in obtaining the final closing figures so we had to use an estimated closing figure and have the Title Company refund us the difference. Other than this inconvenience, Nick and his team did a very good job for us.
